EMBLAZE Line Up Gigs, Prepare To Record Debut CD
June 9, 2002Israeli thrash/death metallers EMBLAZE will support the "legendary" SALEM at the latter's record-release show on July 8th at the Barbie club in Tel Aviv. Around 600-800 fans are expected to attend. EMBLAZE will also share the stage with Israeli "brutal death metal lords" LEHAVOTH on June 26th at the City Hall venue in Haifa.
As previously reported, EMBLAZE will travel to Germany's Spiderhouse studios on July 10th to begin recording their debut full-length effort, entitled Dirty Coloured Knife, with producer Harris Johns (i.e. KREATOR, SODOM, CELTIC FROST). Due to be released through an as-yet-undetermined label later in the year, the album's title track will feature guest appearances by KREATOR mainman Mille Petrozza and ex-THE CROWN/AT THE GATES screamer Tomas Lindberg. "For us to share a song with those metal legends is a great thing and we appreciate their friendship and support," the band stated in a message posted on their official web site. "Both KREATOR and AT THE GATES had a strong influences on EMBLAZE members during the last 10-15 years and we are more then proud to share a song with those two great people."
